摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision avoidance control system that terminates collision avoidance control and immediately restores a normal running state when a vehicle has no potential to collide with an object any more even before the vehicle completely stops during collision avoidance control. <P>SOLUTION: The collision avoidance control system determines whether or not a relative speed between a vehicle and a moving object exceeds a threshold not less than zero, during collision avoidance control.
