PURPOSE: A pixel circuit of an image sensor and a driving method thereof having WDR(Wide Dynamic Range) are provided to remove current leakage generated in a floated diffusion area when accumulating second data by varying a reset potential of the floated diffusion area. CONSTITUTION: A first reset transistor(Rx1) transmits a photo-charge stored in a first floated diffusion area to a second floated diffusion area in response to a first reset control signal. The first reset transistor retransmits an optical charge which is temporarily stored in the second floated diffusion area to the first floated diffusion area. A driving transistor(Dx) follows a signal corresponding to the optical charged transmitted in the first floated diffusion area. A selecting transistor(Sx) outputs the output of the driving transistor to a pixel signal according to a selection signal. A second reset transistor(Rx2) resets the first floated diffusion area as a first power voltage.
