<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent container having a structure that can facilitate appropriate attachment of a lid body. <P>SOLUTION: A detergent container for storing a detergent within a washing machine comprises a container portion including a storage portion storing the detergent and an introducing portion defining an opening through which the detergent is introduced into the storage portion; and a lid body rotationally attached to the introducing portion for closing the opening. The lid body includes an outer surface held by a user, an inner surface on the side opposite to the outer surface and a claw portion protruding from the inner surface.
