The device (15) has a pump piston arranged in a pump cylinder and movable relative to the pump cylinder in translation direction by oscillations of the pump cylinder in an oscillating manner. A suction line and a pressure line are coupled with a workspace in a flow-technical manner, where fluid in a fluid path of the suction line is conveyable/pumped into the pressure line over the workspace. Another suction line and another pressure line are coupled with another workspace in a flow-technical manner. An independent claim is also included for a refrigerating machine.
