Disclosed is an oil seal structure provided with: a ring gear 40 twat has an inner circumferential surface; an outer plate 20 that has an outer circumferential surface facing the inner circumferential surface of the ring gear 40 and is provided coaxially with the ring gear 40 so as to be able to rotate relative thereto; and an inner sealing member 70 that fits up against the inner circumferential surface of the ring gear 40. The inner sealing member 70 has a lip seal section 72, which can slide against the outer circumferential surface of the outer plate 20 (specifically, an outer race 23), and prevents oil from leaking out through between the inner circumferential surface of the ring gear 40 and the outer circumferential surface of the outer plate 20. An oil retaining part H1 that retains oil is provided near the region S of the outer circumferential surface of the outer plate 20, along which the lip seal section 72 slides. |
