<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accompaniment data generation device capable of generating automatic accompaniment data using phrase waveform data including a chord. <P>SOLUTION: An accompaniment data generation device comprises: chord information acquisition means for acquiring chord information specifying a chord type and a chord root; storage means for storing accompaniment pattern data that includes multiple pieces of phrase waveform data individually including one pitch having a role in each chord, and includes chord root information specifying the chord root used as a base by the phrase waveform data; retrieval means for selectively retrieving the phrase waveform data from the storage means in accordance with the chord type specified by the chord information; pitch conversion means for applying a pitch change to the selectively retrieved phrase waveform data, in accordance with the chord type and the chord root specified by the chord information; and generation means for synthesizing the phrase waveform data after the pitch change, and generating accompaniment data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
