<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device and a projector which effectively cool multiple heat sources housed in a small size electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In a cooling device, multiple base plates 81a, 130e are adjacently placed so as to be located close to each other, and the multiple base plates 81a, 130e have flat plate like heat radiation fins 81b, 130d, respectively, erected on rear surfaces thereof. Further, the heat radiation fins 81b, 130d erected on the respective base plates 81a, 130e have extending parts 81d, 130c extending on the rear surfaces of the base plates 81a, 130e that are located next to each other.
