PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a biodegradable copolyester resin is provided to able to reduce energy consumption and carbon dioxide output and to provide a recycled polyester resin excellent inherent viscosity, color, melting point, glass transition temperature, and spinning performance. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a biodegradable copolyester resin comprises: a step of generating polyester depolymerizing oligomer by putting polyester, a depolymerization catalyst and ethylene glycol into a reactor; a step of passing the polyester depolymerizing oligomer through an ion exchange resin; a step of passing the polyester depolymerizing oligomer through a decolorant by putting ethylene glycol into the same; and a step of distilling ethylene glycol under a reaction temperature of 100-250°C and a pressure of 1-760 Torr.
