PURPOSE: A safety management system between equipment and manpower in a tunnel construction site is provided to prevent a safety accident caused by a collision between equipment and manpower by implementing real time distance recognition between the equipment and the manpower. CONSTITUTION: A safety management system includes a safety management system for equipment(M1) and a safety management system for worker(A1). A main program(H4) obtains a warning distance by stage by searching an equipment database based on an equipment ID received from a wireless communication unit for distance calculation(H2). The main program determines a warning by comparing the warning distance by stage with a distance provided trough algorithm for distance calculation(H3).
