<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active matrix display device and a driving method for the same. <P>SOLUTION: An active matrix display device comprises: a panel including a plurality of scan lines for transmitting scan signals, a plurality of data lines for transmitting data signals in response to the scan signals from the scan lines, a pixel circuit which is defined by a plurality of pixels defined by the plurality of data lines and the plurality of scan lines and includes a display element and a driver transistor for driving the display element, and a power supply line for supplying drive current to the driver transistor; a scan driving part for selectively applying the scan signals to the scan lines; a compensation circuit part for generating a compensation signal for compensating voltage drop of the power supply line caused by increase or decrease of total drive current flowing through the panel; and a data driving part for applying the data signals compensated by the compensation signal to the data line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
