PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for concealing a message notified to an application from a control service.

SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes the application for performing processes related to image formation, and the control service for performing system side processes based on a function call from the application. The image forming apparatus also includes a wrapping processing means for selecting a message to be notified to the application from messages transmitted by the control service.
