PURPOSE: A power generation control system for vehicles is provided to reduce costs and time as a controller is embedded as an exclusive part which performs simple control logic. CONSTITUTION: A power generation control system for vehicles comprises a controller(21). The controller comprises a terminal which receives information on devices inside the vehicle, and the terminal for receiving the information on a battery. The controller determines whether or not the information on the devices and battery is applicable to a prohibition condition, and outputs signals to an engine control unit(30) according to the determination. The engine control unit comprises the terminal which receives the signals from the controller. The engine control unit selectively performs the control of generating power according to the signals form the controller.
