<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry in and out a cargo by placing the edge of the cargo at a storage position along a wall surface of a cargo chamber. <P>SOLUTION: In a cargo handling vehicle 11 comprising a vehicle body 12 with a steering drive wheel 31, forks 14L and 14R disposed at the front of the vehicle body 12 that can support the cargo 10 from the bottom, a plurality of idling wheels disposed at a predetermined space in the width direction on the front end side of the forks 14L and 14R that are rotatable around the shaft center in the width direction and can support the cargo 10 through the forks 14L and 14R, and lift devices 13 and 51 capable of driving the forks 14L and 14R so as to lift and lower them, a shift device 35 is provided between the vehicle body 12 and the forks 14L and 14R that rotates the forks 14L and 14R around a cargo turning center Oc formed between the idling wheels 52 by shifting the forks 14L and 14R in the width direction, and rotates the vehicle body 12 in the direction opposite to the forks 14L and 14R around a vehicle body turning center Os which is the steering drive wheel 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
