<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique allowing a printer to properly acquire print data. <P>SOLUTION: If a printer is given, by a user, an acquisition instruction for acquisition of an AuthToken (YES in S102), the printer supplies a user ID and password, which are specified by the user, to a storage management server and acquires an AuthToken from the storage management server (S104). Then, the printer acquires print data using the AuthToken (S126). If the printer is turned off and on after the AuthToken is acquired from the storage management server, the printer supplies the user ID and password in NVRAM to the storage management server and acquires the AuthToken from the storage management server again without the acquisition instruction by the user (S108). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
