<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal shutter allowing recognition of a good image, and a display system using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal shutter for use in liquid crystal shutter spectacles for stereoscopic recognition of an image displayed in a display device of a time-division display system where a first polarizer is disposed on a display surface includes: a second polarizer; a mono-domain vertical alignment liquid crystal cell disposed so as to face one surface side of the second polarizer; and a viewing angle compensation plate disposed so as to face the surface side of the liquid crystal cell, which is opposite to the surface side where the second polarizer is disposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
