The present invention relates to a method for opening a wireless Internet service and a system thereof, and provides a method for opening a wireless Internet service and a system thereof, in which an MAC address required for opening a wireless Internet service online is automatically transferred to an online opening server, so that a subscriber does not need to find the MAC address and to prevent the MAC address from being inputted incorrectly. To this end, the present invention comprises: an authentication server for transmitting an access control rule which includes the MAC address of the terminal to an access control device when a terminal is in a non-opened state as a result from performing authentication and authorization verification using a media access control (MAC) address of the terminal, and registering the terminal using the opening information obtained from an online opening server to complete the opening; the access control device for redirecting an access request of the terminal to the online opening server according to the access control rule received from the authentication server to connect the terminal to the online opening server, and transferring the MAC address of the terminal with the access request; and the online opening server for transferring opening information, which includes the MAC address of the terminal, to the authentication server after performing an opening process by obtaining the MAC address of the terminal as the terminal is accessed through redirection. |
