PURPOSE: A broadcasting signal receiver and operation method thereof are provided to display private content using a second channel and to display images corresponding to a broadcasting signal using a first channel. CONSTITUTION: An operation unit(101Q) provides an operation signal to a display panel(180Q) corresponding to the received broadcasting signal. The operation unit displays images corresponding to the broadcasting signal on the display channel using the first channel. The operation unit displays the private content on the display panel using a second channel.
