<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrially suitable production method of 4-cyanotetrahydropyran, producible of 4-cyanotetrahydropyran in a high yield from a 4-cyanotetrahydropyran-4-carboxylic acid alkali metal salt under mild conditions through an easy method. <P>SOLUTION: The production method of 4-cyanotetrahydropyran comprises reacting a 4-cyano-4-carboxylic acid alkali metal salt expressed by general formula (1) (wherein M represents an alkali metal atom) in at least one kind of solvent selected from the group consisting of amides, ureas, sulfoxides and sulfones. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
