<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily grind a chip saw by using a relatively-inexpensive grinding machine or the like for a metal saw. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a chip saw 1 in which granular diamond 53 is attached to an outer rim of its disciform body 52, and is equipped with chips 5 each with rake and distal flank faces 5a, 5b for enabling the grinding work by its diamond grindstone 51 whose outer peripheral surface 54 is circular-arc-shaped. The rake face 5b of the chip 1 is formed into an R-shape corresponding to one side part 54a on the outer peripheral surface 54 of the diamond grindstone 51, while the distal flank face 5a of the chip 5 is formed into a shape for enabling a grinding work by the other side part 54b on the outer peripheral surface 54 of the diamond grindstone 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
