<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device of a passenger conveyer which enables a light sensor to be arranged to perform alarm regardless of a space shape of an inlet portion at a nearest portion of a moving handrail which gets a body easily caught. <P>SOLUTION: The safety device has light sensors 54, 55 and 55 which are provided at the tip face of an inlet detecting element 36 and which have a detection region parallel to a running direction of the moving handrail 16, and a sound processing device 58 which performs alarm when the light sensors 54, 55 and 55 detect an object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
