<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support technology enabling estimation of accumulative assembly accuracy without selecting an assembling position of each component, inputting a tolerance and setting assembly sequences each time. <P>SOLUTION: In a design support device for an assembly consisting of multiple components, a three-dimensional CAD data analyzer includes: mechanism analysis model generation means for generating a mechanism analysis model, which includes a component arrangement of each component of the assembly, a shape feature, a component attribute and an adjacent relation between components, from three-dimensional CAD data; relative component flexibility calculation means for calculating a relative component flexibility that shows assembly accuracy and motion space between each component, from dimensional accuracy concerning a connection part in the mechanical analysis model; and assembly sequences and accumulative assembly accuracy calculation means for detecting a connection part with few relative component flexibility and making an accumulative calculation of relative component flexibility in line with assembly sequences of the assembly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
