摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain pulse wave measurement in consideration of the influence of gravity on hemoperfusion in the case of making pulse wave measurement by photoelectric conversion. <P>SOLUTION: Fluctuating component signals X fluctuating in amplitude caused by the pulsation of an arterial vessel of a subject, and non-fluctuating component signals Z which are other signal components, are extracted from pulse wave signals obtained by photoelectric conversion type pulse wave measurement. An arithmetic processing circuit 120 determines the propriety of hemoperfusion of the subject from at least one of the fluctuating component signal X and non-fluctuating component signal Z.
