<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out good fixing by a wet fixing system upon forming a color image by superposing toner images of a plurality of colors. <P>SOLUTION: A tandem type color printer is provided, including toner image forming means 2C, M, Y, and K for forming toner images on a plurality of photoreceptors 41C, M, Y, and K, respectively; and transfer chargers 5C, M, Y, and K as transfer means to sequentially transfer the respective toner images onto a transfer sheet P conveyed by a transfer conveyance belt 6.
