<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide shutter glasses with which a transmission state and a non-transmission state can be fast switched, the definition of a transmission image is improved and a restriction of a user posture can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: Shutter glasses include a first panel, a second panel and a drive unit. The first panel has a plurality of first MEMS elements 15L capable of switching between a transmission state where light incident to a left eye is transmitted and a non-transmission state where light incident to the left eye is blocked. The second panel has a plurality of second MEMS elements 15R capable of switching between a transmission state where light incident to a right eye is transmitted and a non-transmission state where light incident to the right eye is blocked. The drive unit supplies a first drive signal to the first panel to alternately switch the plurality of first MEMS elements 15L between the transmission state and the non-transmission state and supplies a second drive signal to the second panel to alternately switch the plurality of second MEMS elements 15R between the transmission state and the non-transmission state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
