PURPOSE: An auction system using an SNS(Social Network Service) and operation method thereof are provided to promote advertisement effects by inducing members to participate in an auction. CONSTITUTION: An auction management unit(210) manages the information of bid members for an auction. The auction management unit provides information related to auction products to the members. The auction management unit includes a user interface for executing an auction. An SMS dispersion confirmation unit manages and confirms dispersion information of the publicity message distributed by the member by connecting to an SNS server(300).
