<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head that has an increased discretionary mass, has a lower and deeper CG position in the club head, has a CG aligned with the center of the face, and has an improved MOI of the club head. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club head has a ball hitting surface comprising a center apex, and a body portion connected with the ball hitting surface comprising at least one drop angle. At least one drop angle is measured with respect to a first imaginary vertical line extending from a path on the body portion to a ground plane. The first imaginary vertical line is located on the path at a horizontal distance between about 2 cm and about 4 cm from the center apex, and the at least one drop angle is between about 40° and about 60° with the club head in the reference position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
