VIDEO TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING VIDEO USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A video terminal and a method for transmitting video using the same are provided to transceive video between the video terminal and a general terminal, using a short message service. CONSTITUTION: A camera unit(601) captures motion picture. An encoder(602) performs a still picture encoding for the captured motion picture, to output still picture data. A trans-coder(603) converts the outputted still picture data into JPEG(Joint Photographic Experts Group) data. A short message generator(604) divides the converted JPEG data into short messages having identical identification information. A wireless unit(606) transmits the generated short messages to a wireless block.
