<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device capable of preventing cutting-off of an electric power supply circuit by an overheat preventer in the front stage of controlling an electric motor in the most emergency. <P>SOLUTION: The seat belt device includes the electric motor 10 for imparting winding driving force to a reel, and the overheat preventer 15 for cutting off the electric power supply circuit when the electric motor 10 is overheated. The seat belt device includes an emergency mode control means 25, and a non-emergency mode control means 26. A controller is provided with: a first operation time-monitoring means 27 for monitoring an operation time of the electric motor 10 by the non-emergency mode control means 26; and a first operation resting means 28 for resting operation of the electric motor 10 by the non-emergency mode control means 26 when detecting, by the first operation time-monitoring means 27, the operation time of a first threshold value time or more when the overheat preventer 15 is not operated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
