<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for arranging reinforcing bars capable of continuously arranging the reinforcing bars which are successively conveyed to a predetermined location at the arrangement position of an automatic welding machine. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes two rotary shafts 14a, 14b arranged parallel to each other in the horizontal direction, and a plurality of oscillating plates 12a, 12b which are fixed to extend downwardly in the axial direction of each rotary shaft at the predetermined spacing, and turnable around the rotary shafts. When viewed in the axial direction of the rotary shafts, a reinforcing bar passage is formed between the oscillating plate 12a fixed to one of the rotary shafts and the oscillating plate 12b fixed to the other of the rotary shaft. Reinforcing bars can be fed to different positions 23a-23h in the width direction by turning the oscillating plates fixed to both rotary shafts while the passage is maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
