<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing device for opening/closing a plug which automatically closes a cover when a plug is in use and automatically opens and closes the cover to house the plug at the time of housing the plug. <P>SOLUTION: When a second engaging part 53 of a relay lever 50 is guided into a forward path 12a of an annular guide part 12 by a forward movement of an operation button 60, first biasing means 35 causes a plug 30 to open so that a cover 40 is opened by an opening movement of the plug 30 against biasing force of second biasing means 45. When the plug 30 is opened, the cover 40 is closed by the biasing force of the second biasing means 45. When the second engaging part 53 of the relay lever 50 is guided into a return path 12b of the annular guide part 12 by a closing movement of the plug 30, an end 73 of a link lever 70 is pushed by an end 51 of the relay lever 50, causing another end 76 of the link lever 70 to push a cam part 44 of the cover 40 so that the cover 40 opens against the biasing force of the second biasing means 45.
