A magnetic refrigeration system in which a cooling medium moving section (34) is so adapted as to cause the flow of a cooling medium from a cooling medium ejection port (312b) of one cooling medium discharge/inlet port (312) to a first cooling medium circulation circuit (4) after the application of a magnetic field to a magnetic work substance (30) by means of a magnetic field application/removal section (32) and to cause the flow of the cooling medium from a cooling medium ejection port (313b) of another cooling medium discharge/inlet port (313) to a second cooling medium circulation circuit (5) after the removal of the magnetic field from the magnetic work substance (30) by means of the magnetic field application/removal section (32).
