PURPOSE: A cutting tool having a tuned mass damper is provided to increase the maximum stable cutting depth of a machining tool by mounting a tuned mass damper with a proper form and at a proper position. CONSTITUTION: A cutting tool having a tuned mass damper comprises a tool holder, a cutter, a tuned mass damper(130). The tuned mass damper is coaxially mounted on the surface of a tool holder adjacent to the cutter. The tuned mass damper comprises a coaxial inner plate(132), a coaxial rubber brush(134), and a coaxial weight body(136). The coaxial inner plate covers the surface of the tool holder. The coaxial rubber brush is laminated on the inner plate. The coaxial weight body is laminated on the rubber brush.
