<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influences of sudden noise or packet losses to avoid occurrence of a sound break, thereby restricting deterioration in sound quality. <P>SOLUTION: An audio signal processing apparatus 100 sorts the transmit sound pressure values calculated by a transmit calculation unit 150 in ascending order to generate a permutation; calculates one transmit sound pressure value at a predefined position near the middle of the permutation; sorts the receive sound pressure values calculated by a receive calculation unit 160 in ascending order to generate a permutation; and calculates one receive sound pressure value at a predefined position near the middle of the permutation to compare the transmit sound pressure value and the receive sound pressure value. Then, based on the comparison result, it controls a transmit attenuator 112 or a receive attenuator 122 so as to attenuate either an audio signal to be transmitted to a network 10 or an audio signal received from the network. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
