PURPOSE: A breast pressing plate lifting apparatus of mammography is provided to improve use stability by mechanically limiting breast pressing motion through a safety unit. CONSTITUTION: A driving motor(12) rotates a TM screw(20). A moving block vertically moves along the TM screw. A guide rod(34) movably guides the moving block. A breast pressing plate is connected to a support bracket(36) which is included on one side of the moving block. A TM nut(40) is screwed with the TM screw. A safety unit is mounted in a mounting hole formed on the moving block.
