PURPOSE: A cell balancing circuit apparatus of a battery management system is provided to minimize energy loss by employing a bidirectional DC-DC converter in each battery cell. CONSTITUTION: A battery cell(100) repeats charge and discharge with specified voltage. An energy bus part(200) is arranged to share surplus power through a plurality of battery cells. A control unit(300), which comprises a battery cell monitoring part(310) measuring and transmitting the potential of a battery cell, implements cell balancing control according to information on the charged state of a battery cell. A bidirectional DC-DC converter(400) implements active balancing of charge or discharge to a plurality of battery cells. |
