DEVICE AND METHOD FOR BATCH PROPERTY ESTIMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating estimated values of properties of a batch process, thereby solving the problem in which even today it is difficult to estimate exactly the properties of the batch process based on a past value or a current state estimated value.

SOLUTION: A method and a device for generating estimated values of properties of a batch process employ a non-parametric model in order to generate the estimated values of a plurality of reaction speed associated with the batch process. Each of estimated values of the reaction speed corresponds, for example, to particular time during the batch process. The estimated values of the plurality of the reaction speed are then integrated in order to generate the estimated values of the properties of the batch process at the particular time.
