<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of satisfactorily recovering a residual toner on an intermediate transfer body in the image forming device of an in-line system which recovers a secondary transfer residual toner by simultaneous transfer-and-recovery system. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device 100A is configured such that, among a plurality of image forming sections 10, the image forming section 10 which mainly recovers a toner by reverse transfer in a color mode is different from that in a monochrome mode, and after primary transfer in a most upstream image forming section 10a is finished in the color mode, at least part of toner on an intermediate transfer body 50 charged to reversed polarity, which reaches a primary transfer part N1a of the most upstream image forming section 10a, is recovered by reverse transfer in the image forming sections 10 other than the most upstream image forming section 10a after passing through the primary transfer part N1a of the most upstream image forming section 10a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
