<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of integrating a user definition custom function block with a process control system built in a process plant. <P>SOLUTION: A user is enabled to generate a function block by creating a source code file related to the function block by combining a plurality of files selected from a file group provided by a manufacturer, the source code file of the function block can be altered so as to includes a procedure, a routine, or an algorithm which is not provided by the manufacturer, and sent to the manufacturer for verification, and once validity of the source code file of the function block is confirmed, a safe measure like a digital sign is supplied to the user, so that the user can built the function block in the process control system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
