<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start up an operation system so as to quickly switch an execution mode when a power supply is turned on, without holding multiple snapshots. <P>SOLUTION: A starting device 1 comprises: a volatile memory 14 used at run time of a program; a first non-volatile memory 17 for holding a copy of first information held by the volatile memory 14 immediately before a discrimination program for discriminating a mode to be executed among multiple modes is executed; and first reproduction means 16 for reproducing the first information for the volatile memory 14 based on the copy held by the first non-volatile memory 17, in response to turning on of a power supply. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
