<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharged multi-cylinder engine in which a limit rotation speed is not exceeded in a turbocharger. <P>SOLUTION: The supercharged multi-cylinder engine 1 including a turbocharger 10 supercharging an intake by exhaust energy includes: first and second exhaust manifolds 31, 32 collecting the exhaust from a cylinder group having exhaust strokes not continuous with each other; and first and second ejectors 49, 50 guiding the exhaust collected by the first and second exhaust manifolds 31, 32 to the turbocharger 10. The minimum flow channel cross sectional areas Sj of the first and second ejectors 49, 50 are set so that exhaust flows in the first and second ejectors 49, 50 fall into a critical state while the rotation speed of the turbocharger 10 does not exceed the limit rotation speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
