PURPOSE: A temperature sensor having a silicon housing and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to minimize a failure generation rate, to obtain a mass production of an environmental friendly products by using a silicon material which is harmless to human bodies. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a temperature sensor having a silicon housing is as follows. A material is inspected(S10). A wire is spot-welded, auto-sprite bent, or soldered to a lead line of a device(S20). Pastes and foreign materials around a soldered portion are cleaned(S30). A primer is spread on the device, the soldered portion, and an end part of the lead line(S40). The primer is dried under the room temperature or inside an oven(S50). The wire in which the primer is spread is aligned in a grove of a jig and fixed so that the device is exposed. The jig is arranged in a jig seating unit of a mold(S60). The device exposed from the jig is inserted into the mold after being arranged between silicon sheets, thereby molding by pressing with a thermal press. Jig is positioned in the jig settling portion of the mold(S70). The produced product is inspected(S80).
