PURPOSE: A spindle assembly is provided to eliminate the need for processing a key way and to easily perform balancing because a cylinder adapter and a lock nut are connected by a joining member. CONSTITUTION: A spindle assembly(110) comprises a main spindle(130), a cylinder adapter(150), a lock nut(170), a joining member(180). A tool for processing work is mounted in the main spindle. The cylinder adapter is fixed in an end part of the main spindle. The lock nut is arranged in the inner side of the cylinder adapter along a longitudinal direction of the main spindle. The joining member is connected to through-holes(150a,170a) formed in the cylinder adapter and lock nut. |
