<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a sense of togetherness of a compound lamp unit by reducing fluctuations in brightness in the vicinity of the interface area between a first lamp unit and a second lamp unit. <P>SOLUTION: The compound lamp unit for a passenger car comprises a first lamp unit 30 provided on a door end and a second lamp unit 40 provided on a body end, designed as one integral lamp unit. The first lamp unit 30 and the second lamp unit 40 are structured so as to pass light of a light source through light guide bodies 36, 46 and irradiate surroundings of the light guide bodies 36, 46, and the light passed through the light guide body 36 of the first lamp unit 30 reaches up to the light guide body 46 of the second lamp unit 40 and the light passed through the light guide body 46 of the second lamp unit 40 can reach up to the light guide body 36 of the first lamp unit 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
