<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic sensor of which appearance can be improved in a state that the ultrasonic sensor is attached on a bumper. <P>SOLUTION: An ultrasonic sensor includes: two mounts 2 which are adhesively fixed to the inner surface (top face in Figure 1) of a bumper 1, respectively; and a sensor body 3 holding transmitting and receiving means for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves. Each mount 2 and the sensor body 3 have coupling parts 22, 32 which detachably couple together by convexoconcave engagement. It is not necessary to make a part of the ultrasonic sensor protrude outside the bumper 1, different from the case that the ultrasonic sensor consists of two blocks and the two blocks are coupled by sandwiching the bumper 1 from the inside and the outside.
