PURPOSE: A spindle motor including an improved core is provided to suppress the interference of a curved portion and a core. CONSTITUTION: A bearing assembly comprises a bearing housing(110) and a bearing(120). The bearing housing comprises a body(116) and a flange part(118). The bearing comprises an oil impregnation sintered bearing. The stator(200) comprises a core(210) and a coil(220). A rotary shaft(300) is inserted into the bearing. The rotary shaft is pivotally supported by the bearing. The rotor(400) is combined with the rotary shaft. The rotor comprises a yoke(410) and a magnet(420). The yoke includes an upper plate(412) and a yoke side plate(414). |
