<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the energy density of a battery module is degraded if an inner space of an exhaust duct is large, although the exhaust duct preferably has a large inner space for efficiently discharging exhaust gas to the outside of the battery module. <P>SOLUTION: A case 23 is divided into a first battery chamber 27A, a second battery chamber 27B, and an exhaust duct 29. The exhaust duct 29 is divided into two parts by a moving member 31 which can expand an exhaust path in a discharging direction. When gas is discharged from a unit cell 1 in the first battery chamber 27A, the gas pushes the moving member 31 to move the moving member 31 in a discharging direction. Therefore, an inner space of a first exhaust duct portion 29A is expanded. The gas from the unit cell 1 is discharged to the outside of the case 23 through the inside of the first exhaust duct portion 29A expanding the inner space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
