<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lamp with heat radiation performance improved through enlargement of a heat radiation area in a limited size and form. <P>SOLUTION: The LED lamp includes: a light-emitting part equipped with at least one LED light-emitting element and a circuit board with the light-emitting element mounted; a heat radiation member, with the light-emitting part mounted, for radiating heat of the light-emitting part; and a translucent lamp cover directly in contact with the heat radiating member and covering the light-emitting part by being joined to the heat radiating member. The lamp cover is the one of: a cover made of a translucent material with a thermal conductivity of 9W/m*K<SP POS="POST">-1</SP>or more; a translucent cover containing one or more thermal conductive layers to be formed to directly contact with the heat radiating member on its outer peripheral surface; and a cover with thermal conductive fillers dispersed in a translucent polymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
