PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To analyze a break position in input data in which a plurality of records each including data pieces related to a plurality of items are consecutive.SOLUTION: A data analysis device 11 analyzes fixed-length data 12 with no break of an item. That is, a first analysis unit 16 analyzes the fixed-length data 12 to obtain a break position of a record on the basis of a character type or the like, a second analysis unit 20 of an item analysis unit 18 obtains a padding character which follows a character or a number, and a third analysis unit 22 obtains a break position of an item in one record in the fixed-length data 12 on the basis of the padding character, the character type, or the like.
