<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for monitoring an in-pipe state, enabling to easily discriminate a factor for a flow rate reduction. <P>SOLUTION: An inspecting transparent pipe 11 exists in a pipe passage. An illumination light source 15 emits inspecting illumination light from the outside of the inspecting transparent pipe 11, a camera 16 picks up the image of resulting light transmitted through or reflected from the inspecting transparent pipe 11, and a personal computer 17 analyzes the light intensity. Thereby, the state of deposits on the inner wall of the inspecting transparent pipe 11 is detected. Thus, the state that rust, scales and slime are deposited on the inner wall of a whole equipment passage pipe can be consistently monitored in a simple and inexpensive method. Information of the whole passage pipe is also obtained, enabling to easily discriminate whether an in-pipe flow rate reduction, if found, is caused by a pipe diameter being smaller due to solids deposited on the inner wall of the whole pipe or foreign matters being locally deposited. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
