<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem with a conventional method for producing olefin oxide wherein hydrogen peroxide can be left without being perfectly consumed depending on reaction conditions. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing olefin oxide comprises steps of: [1] reacting hydrogen peroxide with olefin in the presence of titanosilicate and a solvent; and [2] bringing a substance containing at least one element selected from the group consisting of manganese and platinum group elements into contact with a reactant obtained in the above step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
